Frequently Asked Questions
-
I am new to Pilates. How do I join your studio to get started? All beginners must start with our Intro Offer which includes 5 beginner reformer classes. Given the small, intimate nature of our classes as well as all the equipment, for your safety we are not accepting drop-ins. Please join the waitlist for upcoming opportunities!
-
I have previous Pilates experience. How can I join your studio? Please reach out to Georgia at georgia@infinitewellness.net for more information
-
Is Pilates suitable for older people?Pilates is accessible to everybody! Pilates exercises are low impact and can be modified to suit your individual needs at any age. It is a great form of exercise for osteoporosis, neurological issues, pre and post joint replacement, and any other physician limitations.
-
I have an injury and have not exercised in awhile. Can I do Pilates? If you have been cleared for exercise by your Physician, we are happy to schedule a private one-on-one session to learn more about your limitations, answer any questions, and decide a plan of action moving forward.
-
How often should I do Pilates? For the best results it's suggested to do 2-3 classes per week as attending classes infrequently does not allow for advancement of practice and may result in injury.
-
I’m pregnant, is there anything I should avoid in Pilates classes?Congratulations! As long as you have been active pre-pregnancy and are cleared to attend classes, you can continue with your regular classes. Notify the instructor so that they can give you the appropriate modifications. Unfortunately jumpboard classes must be paused after the first trimester and resumed postnatally. You can also consider prenatal classes when they are offered. Great way to meet other mamas!

I’m unable to find a class time that works with my schedulePlease contact us as we are a growing studio and would love to hear from you!

My physiotherapist recommended Georgia’s classes to me as part of my recovery from a hip replacement. I was reluctant to try, but after doing 5 private classes with Georgia, I was hooked. I find her classes energizing and I have never felt stronger. She is most attentive to the needs of her students, and consistently offers modifications and corrections to improve form and posture. I highly recommend Infinite Wellness for all ages and levels of experience.

Hey, I'm Georgia
your fully certified Pilates and movement instructor
Pilates was first introduced to me as a form of rehabilitation post-surgery when I was 16 years old. I had surgery to correct scoliosis and have worked to alleviate back pain and muscle tension and increase strength and flexibility through a consistent Pilates practice. Experiencing the benefits of Pilates in my own body became my source of motivation to become certified and help people transform their lives through movement.
